How to tap a keg without foam. Line up the keg valve and the tap coupler lugs. Clear the first inch or two of beer that sits in the uninsulated part of the faucet and then shove the glass under the faucet at an angle. It should come off fairly easily.

There are two things i would try. As the bottle is filled from the bottom up, the co2 in the beer should in theory push out the oxygen that is already in the bottle, and by capping on foam, you can be sure that you’re trapping only co2 inside the bottle with the beer.
